We don't use a standard application form because we're not looking for standard applicants.
For a training contract or a vacation scheme,
please send us your CV and a covering letter, which should include details of your academic referee.
You should have, or be on track for, a 2:1 degree or better. It
would also be helpful if you could let us know how you heard about
Gouldens.
Training Contracts
If you're studying law, apply between your penultimate and final years, from July onwards. Interviews start on 1 September.
If you're not studying law, apply from 1 November in your final year.
Vacation Schemes
We run two week schemes for law students through the summer vacation between your penultimate and final years at university. Apply no later than 28 February.
We run two week schemes during the Christmas and Easter vacations for non-lawyers in their penultimate and final years of university. Apply by 28 February for Easter and 31 October for Christmas.
We also arrange open days and work experience outside normal vacation periods. We will reimburse all reasonable travel expenses if you are called for interview.
